Rogue Enterprises, Public Safety Training is once again offering three American Heart Association classes at SECA: CPR Training, HeartSaver First Aid Training (which is ideal for those with little to no medical training) and Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider.Registration Form
The AHA’s Heartsaver CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Upon successful completion of the course, including a CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years. $50 fee. Next date: TBD
HEARTSAVER FIRST AID TRAINING
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card, valid for two years. $50 fee. Next date: TBD
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) FOR THE HEALTHCARE PROVIDER
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?: Healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
The AHA’s BLS Provider Course reflects science and education from the 2015 Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.
$75/fee; $50 for recertification

Family Emergency Preparedness Training
This will be a full, fun-filled day of activities designed to teach students of all ages various aspects of Emergency Preparedness. The day will be divided into 3 sessions, approximately 2 hours each. Take all 3 sessions OR individual sessions, depending on your interest. Sessions may be used towards requirements of various Scout programs.
Session #1: First Aid
Session #2: CPR/AED
Session #3: Fire Safety
Sessions are $20 each or $50 for all 3.
This program promises to be educational and entertaining for all involved! Parents are encouraged to be involved as well, at no additional cost!
